Visit the Impressionists’ Paris at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in your winter holiday (Week 7)
From the 9th to the 17th of February the Glyptotek will take you on a journey back to the Paris of the Impressionists.
In our workshops for children you can learn to paint light, air and movement like Claude Monet, Edgar Degas and Pierre-Auguste Renoir – and you can exhibit your art. In our workshops you will also find a treasure map, which will take you and your family on an exciting adventure in the Impressionists’ paintings of light.
Every day at 12.00 midday children can come on a tour in our collection of French Impressionist paintings. Here we investigate how these French artists paint their impressions of the world. How does one paint movement? Which colours does light have? And how many colours can a shadow contain?
Workshops for children, from 11.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.
Guided tours for children, at 12.00 midday, “Monet and the painters of impressions”
