Concert by St Matthew’s Youth Choir in the Central Hall of the Glyptotek
St Matthew’s Youth Choir is affiliated with the Congregation of St Matteus in Stockholm. The Congregation is
renowned for its rich musical life and its own symphony orchestra, as well as its splendid organ. The Youth
Choir, which consists of sopranos and altos in the 16 to 24 age group, was started by Anders Frisk 23 years
ago. Their repertoire ranges from classical works to gospel, songs from musicals and folk songs. The Choir
appears regularly at the Church of St Matteus, but has also given concerts in such cities as Paris, Barcelona,
Prague and Berlin.
Anders Frisk was educated at Den Kungliga Musikhögskolan (The Royal College of Music) in Stockholm
and has worked as a church musician at St Matteus Church since 1991.
