Open End Ensemble

Open End Ensemble from New York are visiting Denmark and will be performing at the Rudersdal Summer Concerts and at the Glyptotek. The ensemble consists of a string quartet plus piano and among the countries it has toured are France and Italy. The five musicians have achieved considerable renown for their improvisations – something seldom heard from classical musicians. One of the ensemble’s violinists, Andrew Waggoner, is also a composer and his music will also feature in the programme.
