Listen!

The Glyptotek brings the secrets of art to life with sound.

Throughout the Glyptotek, you can find 18 different listening stations to whisk you off on sensory trips to ancient Egypt, the Roman Empire and 19th-century Paris. Learn all about the art, history and architecture of the Glyptotek and get answers to questions you never thought of asking.

There are listening stations for both children and adults.

You can pick up a small LISTEN! guide at the ticket office.

Listen! was made possible with generous funding from Bikubenfonden.

Architecture

The Glyptotek’s architecture offers a richness of details and stories. The complex listed building is a sumptuous collage of architectural styles, atmospheres and sensory impressions that provides a spectacular experience.

Discover the architecture guide in the Glyptotek’s app. Find it in App Store or Google Play.

Children

May you play at the Glyptotek? Definitely!

We have developed our very own Glypto Games that invite to experience the art and architecture in new ways, calm down, concentrate, and maybe they’ll also make you laugh. Both children and adults can join in on the fun.

The Glypto Game Five spot starts a conversation about the sculptures’ bodies and your own (download pdf).

The Glypto Game I spy a triangle is about finding hidden triangles in the sculptures and looking at their shapes (download pdf).

The games can be adapted depending on your mood and the age of the children.
