The Glyptotek’s café now has a new name, new concept and new furniture!
Come along when we celebrate the opening of Picnic at the Glyptotek on Thursday 7th February from 6.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
Picnic will be serving bite-sized snacks from the kitchen, Prolog Coffee Bar will provide freshly-made coffee and Carlsberg will supply cold draught beer.
Picnic’s menu is modern cuisine served in what may just be Copenhagen’s greenest, most beautiful place to take a breather.
The name Picnic
At the Glyptotek you can have a “picnic” in the greenery all year round – even if the weather outside is grey and miserable.
The choice of name is also inspired by the Glyptotek’s strong connection with France: Carl Jacobsen’s great collection of French sculpture and his son Helge’s extensive collection of French Impressionist painting. It is therefore only logical that the name of the café should be found in the French language.
Please note that the programme of the night will be in Danish.
