This conference highlights the migration of artists and ideas to Denmark over the past 200+ years to examine their collective influence on the history of the visual arts. The day will feature talks from artists and scholars showing that migration is not a new phenomenon to Denmark, but rather has strong and established traditions still visible within Denmark’s museums, artistic practices, and communities today. All talks will be in English. Please register no later than Wednesday, 22 September by emailing email@example.com
Location: Det Kongelige Danske Videnskabernes Selskab (The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters), H. C. Andersens Blvd. 35, 1553 København.
