Why not come along when the Glyptotek opens its magnificent exhibition Pierre Bonnard. The Colour of Memory. This is the first time in more than 25 years that it has been possible to experience a solo exhibition of the French artist Pierre Bonnard (1867-1947) in Denmark: an exhibition which will follow Bonnard as a modern artist into the 20th century.
In the exhibition you will be able to see more than 100 works by one of French art’s superlative colourists and gain an insight into his unique method: Bonnard paints from memory, detaching himself from his subjects and resurrecting them in the colours of memory.
5.00 p.m. A glass of beer in the Winter Garden
5.15 p.m. Address of welcome by Director Christine Buhl Andersen
5.25 p.m. Introduction to the exhibition by Curator Anna Kærsgaard Gregersen
