Pride at the Glyptotek

/ 21. August 2022
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

On the occasion of Copenhagen Pride, why not join a fascinating guided tour that features queer interpretations of ancient sculptures and mythological figures. We will take a closer look at sculptures from the Glyptotek’s collection of ancient and modern art, each of which tells some sort of story about gender, sexuality and power. Learn all about the deified young man Antinous and his lover Hadrian, and discover the multifarious love stories inherent in the marble sculptures.

Tickets cannot be booked in advance. They are available in the ticket office on the day.We do not issue tickets to groups of more than five persons. We advise larger groups to book a private guided tour.

Glyptoteket's exhibitions present artworks and cultural-historical objects.
