A concert featuring five amazing musicians, each of who has won numerous international awards and distinctions. For this concert they have joined forces to play two beautiful piano quintets. The 2nd. movement of the Granados quintet features a distinct touch of Spanish folk music, while Dvořák’s effervescent, highly dramatic quintet is rich in beautiful melodies. The Dumka in the 2nd. movement – a plaintive, Slavic melody – forms the heart of the work.
Anna Egholm, violin
Alva Holm, violin
Nicholas Swensen, viola
Josef Alin, cello
Elias Holm, piano
