Dream yourself away to the tones of Buenos Aires on 9th May when the Central Hall of the Glyptotek is transformed into a tango salon. There you will find Bo Gitto and Lucy Mogensen from TangoAmor are ready to instruct you and your dancing partner in the delights of Tango Milonguero.
Here it’s not a matter of wild arm-waving but clasping each other firmly and improvised steps which are the result of the dance’s wordless communication.
Tango Salon starts with an introduction to the tango, in which everyone can learn the steps. Then the floor is open for dancing, and there will also be the chance to enjoy a glass of cool white wine.
Don’t miss the special exhibition ”Perfect Poses?”, where the focus is on the expression and poses of the human body. Read more about the exhibition here
The Glyptotek’s café Picnic will be serving dinner from 5.00 p.m. Book your table here
