Group & School Visits

Groups

If you are bringing a large group on an independent visit to the museum, please let us know in advance, so we can make sure you have a great time at the museum. Inform us of your arrival time here.

If there are more than 30 people in your group, you must book more than one arrival time (one timeslot per group of 30 people).

Please note that groups must arrive and pay together in order to be given group discount at the entrance. See admission prices here.

School Groups

School classes (primary, secondary and adult education, but not university level) and day care centres are welcome to discover and examine the Glyptotek’s collections on an independent visit. Please remember always to book a place in advance, so we can prepare for your visit and make sure you have a great time at the museum.

Please note that on Tuesdays admission to the museum is free for everyone. That means you may run into a larger number of visitors on those days. So, we encourage school groups and day care centres, if possible, to visit us on an another day of the week.

Admission to the museum for schools and day care centres is free every day during opening hours (Tuesday-Sunday).

The Glyptotek's exhibitions present both works of art and archaeological objects and offer new angles on life, culture and civilization over 6,000 years.
