Two of the most important Danish sculptors of the first half of the 20th century are Kai Nielsen and Gerhard Henning. The Glyptotek owns a large selection of works by the two artists, and Kai Nielsen’s Watermother greets the visitor in the museum’s winter garden. The catalogue comprises works by other contemporary sculptors, as well as modern artists, a.o. Svend Wiig Hansen, Richard Winther and Jørgen Haugen Sørensen.
