The figure is a 1:1 plaster cast of the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek original.

Material of the original: Marble/bronze Origin of the original: Dates back to the 2nd century A.D. but it is a Roman copy in marble of a bronze work from around 460 BC.
Due to the fragile material the plaster cast can not be sent and must therefore be collected at the museum.
